"We were fortunate to have Briana as our social worker during our long adoption process. Words that come to mind when we think of Briana are steady, kind, patient, professional, loving, solid, dependable, and safe. Our adoption process was 8 years in duration; Briana was with us for most of it. Her steady guidance provided the confidence to stay strong. She also provided many learning opportunities during our painful wait! By the time we were able to bring our son home (we adopted an older child) we felt ready for the journey ahead. She met with each of us individually (my husband, our older son, and myself) throughout the process to help us feel supported, heard and seen. My oldest son immediately said, "She made sure to connect with us and did it so well!" She also did our post adoption reports, and honestly right after you bring your child home it can be very overwhelming! She again was calm, let us know everything we were feeling was normal, provided much needed support and resources. I had to call a couple times to discuss important issues, and I never felt judged or that I was a bother. She always validated my questions and the feelings surrounding them as a mom. I hope others "hear" my conviction through my words that Briana is an excellent choice as a therapist! I cannot imagine anyone more qualified! She also has a huge heart but will guide you responsibly! You will have the confidence and support you need to work through anything you are facing.
