"Briana is a compassionate, genuine, reliable and knowledgeable therapist. She supported me through the most difficult time in my life, giving me the hope and courage I needed. With her help, I was better able to navigate challenging family dynamics, cope with a life-threatening condition and advocate for myself in a variety of situations. I am forever grateful for her support."
Shannon, age 33
"We were fortunate to have had Briana Currey as our Clinical Social Worker during our very long adoption process. Some words that come to mind when we think of Briana are, steady, kind, patient, professional, loving, solid, dependable, safe, and truthfully, I could go on and on! Our adoption process was 8 years in duration; Briana was with us a good portion of those 8 years. Her steady guidance provided the confidence to stay strong. She also provided many learning opportunities in our painful wait! By the time we were finally able to bring our son home, we adopted an older child, we felt ready (as one can be) for the journey ahead. She met with each of us individually (my husband, our older son, and myself) throughout the process to help us feel supported, heard and seen. My oldest son immediately said, "she made sure to connect with us and did it so well!" She also did our post adoption reports, and honestly right after you bring your child home it can be very overwhelming! She again was calm, let us know everything we were feeling was normal, provided much needed support and resources. I had to call a couple times to discuss important issues, and I never felt judged or as if I were being a bother. She always validated my questions and the feelings surrounding them as a mom. I hope others "hear" my conviction through my words that Briana is an excellent choice as a counselor/therapist! I cannot imagine anyone more qualified! She also has a huge heart but will guide you responsibly! You will have the confidence and support you need to work through anything you are facing!! She is a GIFT to whoever decides to take life changing steps to grow!" Holly Starr, age 42 also Blake (husband), JR (now 19 year old son) and Paul (now 15 years old)
"Briana has gone above and beyond to help me navigate the most difficult time in my life. She does a wonderful job of understanding the impact chronic illness has on my life and has helped me implement actionable strategies to lessen its impact. She helps me identify areas of personal growth and always celebrates moments of progress. Briana creates a warm, safe, and welcoming environment to foster trust and understanding. Her thoughtful advice makes me a better person. I always feel more confident in tackling life’s challenges after talking with Briana." Kristin, age 44
“What an incredible experience for such a tender season of life. Briana brings a wonderful blend of being a compassionate listener to a thoughtful challenger. She was incredibly flexible with allowing for different avenues of communication when the face to face (even through a screen) was too much for a season, having the patience to allow me time to build up to speaking the deeper and harder thoughts and experiences.”- Michelle, 40
